The FBI held a press conference this afternoon to shed some additional light on yesterday’s Navy Yard shooting tragedy in Washington, D.C., carried out by Aaron Alexis.
The FBI spokeswoman told the media that the agency believes that the shooter worked alone in killing the 12 victims, all of whom who have been positively identified. She wanted to emphasize that the investigation is ongoing and they are taking their time with the investigation.
It was also confirmed that a shotgun, not an AR-15 rifle, was used in the shooting.
