Police speculate it’s related to a bad business deal and he was referred to as a “vendor” who was related to the company. Nassau County Chief of Police Steve Skynecki told reporters:
The motive here appears to be a work-related motive. There was some disgruntlement between him and the company he was attacking. We have nothing to suggest that this individual is on a random shooting rampage.
5. Police Believe he Has Fled the Vicinity of the Office Shooting
Police are confident Kim has fled the area but are still screening people at and near the mall. The Nassau Police Chief told reporters:
This does not seem to be an active shooter, the place of business seems to have been targeted.
