On Tuesday, July 1, the USA national soccer team will face Belgium in a win-or-go-home World Cup match viewed by millions of Americans. The victor goes on to play either Switzerland or Argentina in the quarterfinals on July 5.

The Switzerland match starts at 4 p.m. Eastern time, and you can watch it on ESPN if you’re near a television.

However, for those of you who can’t get to a TV, there are free ways to watch Belgium vs USA online.

Here’s how:

Stream the Game on ESPN’s Website

If you have a cable subscription (or your friend or family member does) that allows you to watch ESPN, ESPN 2 or ESPN 3, you can watch every game streaming live at WatchESPN.com/.

Once you go to the website and select “Soccer,” you must enter your cable provider and the username and password given to to you by your provider.

Stream It on Your Phone With the ESPN App

Download the WatchESPN app from iTunes or Google Play on your smartphone or tablet.

As with the ESPN website, you’ll need the login and password for your (or someone else’s) cable provider account.

Stream It With the Univision App (No Cable Account Required!)

If you don’t have an ESPN cable subscription, you can download the free Univision Deportes app on your iPhone or Android device.

Open the app, click on “BEL v USA,” then click “Watch Live.”

This will allow you to watch a free live stream of the game.

Drawback: You’ll only get Spanish commentary.

More Unsavory Options

There are also many unofficial streams that we do not recommend you use — both for legal reasons and for the danger to your computer and the aggravation of pervasive popups — but a Google search for free World Cup streams will bring up a slew of options. Sites such as First Row Sports and Wiziwig are among the more well-known options.

Below you can hear team USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann talk about how he’s unhappy of FIFA’s choice for referee in the USA vs Belgium match.
