After a 12-year wait, fans of Helen Fielding's Bridget Jones finally get to see the character come alive on the big screen again. In Bridget Jones's Baby, she learns that she is pregnant and isn't sure who is the father. It could be Mark Darcy, played once again by Colin Firth, or an American named Jack, played by former Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey.
Renee Zellweger is back again to play the title character, while Bridget Jones's Diary director Sharon Maguire is back in the director's chair. Fielding wrote the screenplay with Dan Mazer (Borat) and Emma Thompson getting co-writing credit. So far, the film has been earning great reviews, which is far different from the reception 2004's Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason received.
