Hallmark’s ‘Entertaining Christmas’: Cast, Where Filmed, Time & Photos

Brendan Fehr stars in Entertaining Christmas. Here's his bio from Hallmark:

"Brendan Fehr recently finished a four-season run starring as Drew on the NBC series “The Night Shift.” A former Army medic turned doctor, Drew is proud to be part of the often-ridiculed night shift and engages in mixed martial arts as a way to reduce the stress that comes with the job. Fehr has also been recurring on AMC’s hit series “Better Call Saul.”

"Fehr quickly emerged as one of Hollywood’s most versatile talents. With his performance in the popular cult television series “Roswell,” in which he portrayed the quiet and complicated alien Michael Guerin, Fehr gained a loyal fan base. Following that series, he was cast as the co-lead in ABC Family’s television series “Samurai Girl,” in which he played Jake Stanton, a martial arts expert who teaches the daughter of a rich Japanese businessman how to protect herself when she sets out to avenge her brother’s death. In addition, he’s had recurring roles on popular television series such as “CSI: Miami,” in which he played Dan Cooper, “Longmire,” “Nikita,” and “Bones,” in which he portrayed Jared Booth.

"
Fehr’s feature film credits include The Long Weekend, opposite Chris Klein; Final Destination, Child Star with Jennifer Jason Leigh; Biker Boyz, in which he starred alongside Laurence Fishburne; The Fifth Patient, opposite Peter Bogdanovich and Marley Shelton; Fox’s X-Men: First Class and, most recently, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

"Fehr is set to star in the upcoming independent feature film Daughter of the Wolf, opposite Gina Carano and Richard Dreyfuss.

"An emerging director, he recently helmed “The Ugly Christmas Sweater” for Lifetime. Fehr resides in New Mexico."

Recap & Looking Ahead: The synopsis from Hallmark for Entertaining Christmas reads: "Claire is a cookbook author, crafting expert, and television personality whose name is synonymous with perfection. As she contemplates retirement, her daughter Kara (Sweetin) is poised to become the new face of the Livingston brand. The only trouble is, Kara can’t cook. Or sew. Or do any of the signature things her mother is known for. When a young girl posts a video online requesting Claire help welcome her deployed father home for Christmas, Kara is sent in her place in an effort to prove herself a worthy successor to the board of directors and win the job. As Kara does her best to make a good impression, she gets more than she bargained for when the young girl’s uncle Joe turns out to be a reporter for the local paper, looking for his next story."

Another synopsis from Hallmark has different name for the main characters. It's not clear which version is correct, since the different versions are both listed on Hallmark's website: "Candace, daughter of lifestyle mogul Liz Livingstone, has never lived up to her mother’s standards. When a young girl posts a video begging Liz to help arrange a special Christmas party, Candace is sent in her place. As she struggles to prove herself worthy of running the company, Candace meets — and begins falling for — the girl’s uncle, a reporter writing an expose on her."
