Kim Zolciak-Biermann Returns to ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ in New Season Sneak Peek

Heavy/Getty Kim Zolciak-Biermann has returned to Bravo.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” is back for a new season and so is a beloved housewife: Kim Zolciak-Biermann.

Zolciak-Biermann, 44, had a brief cameo in the new trailer, shared by E! Online on March 30. “Kim, your tits look smaller,” “RHOA” co-star Shereé Whitfield tells her.

Also joining Zolciak-Biermann and Whitfield for season 15 of “RHOA” are Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, Marlo Hampton, Cynthia Bailey and Sanya Richards-Ross.

Zolciak-Biermann’s return to the show isn’t the only thing for “RHOA” fans to get excited about. The season 15 trailer teased a whole season of new drama, including a cast trip to Portugal; details about the shooting at Burruss’ restaurant; Moore hitting the dating scene and Sidora’s divorce from her husband, Ralph Pittman, after nearly nine years of marriage.

Zolciak-Biermann was a part of the original “RHOA” cast in 2008 but left the series in 2012. She briefly returned to the Bravo series as a “friend of the housewives” during season 10 in 2017.

The Bravo star told People she was motivated to return to the show by money.

“Everything has a price. I’m just giving it to you straight,” she told the publication in 2017. “Given the right amount of money for anything? Yeah, count me in. I like to work. I have six children to support, so for sure!”

In 2012, the reality star walked away from the show which made her famous because there was too much negativity. “I just was extremely frustrated — it just was really a trying season for me. I had had enough,” Zolciak-Biermann told People in 2017.

Since getting her start on “RHOA,” Zolciak-Biermann launched two businesses. In 2016 she launched Kashmere Kollections, beauty and lifestyle company, and in 2020 she launched a luxury swimsuit line called Salty K.

Zolciak-Biermann Has Been Away From Reality TV For 2 Years

Zolciak-Biermann’s hiatus from reality TV and Bravo lasted two years. Although she left “RHOA” as a main cast member in 2012, she landed her own series, “Don’t Be Tardy,” in 2012.

The show followed her family life, which includes her husband, former Atlanta Falcons football player Kroy Biermann, daughters Brielle, Ariana, and the couple’s youngest children, Kaia, Kane, Kash, and KJ.

But “Don’t Be Tardy” was canceled in 2021 after eight seasons.

“We greatly appreciate and value the support from all of our fans as we continue to grow in the entertainment industry,” the couple said in a joint statement at the time, per Deadline. “In times of significant growth there are steps that have to be strategically taken, but rest assured, you will see the Biermann family on you TV screens again very soon. Grab yourself a glass of wine and stay tuned.”

A Bravo spokesperson said working with the Zlciak-Biermann family was an “incredible” experience.

“We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to share their life and all the touching moments with our audience,” the rep said in a statement, according to Deadline. “While ‘Don’t Be Tardy’ will not be returning for another season, the Biermanns will always be part of the Bravo family, and we look forward to seeing what’s next.”

Zolciak-Biermann’s Georgia Mansion Is Not Being Sold at Auction

The foreclosure auction of Zolciak-Biermann’s house in Georgia was canceled, Entertainment Tonight wrote in February 2023, citing the law office of Brock & Scott, PLLC.

Zolciak-Biermann and her husband defaulted on the $1.65 million loan they used to purchase the six-bedroom-nine bathroom house in October 2012, according to the notice of foreclosure. Truist Bank was slated to auction the home on March 7, as noted by a Fulton County notice, but it was called off and a new auction date was not given, according to Entertainment Tonight.

An anonymous insider claimed the reality star quietly fixed the problem. “The couple has taken the action to clear this up,” the insider told People.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” debuts Sunday, May 7, at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
