Monica Garcia Says She Ended Up in the ER After RHOSLC Easter Party

Heavy

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” fans saw cast members Monica Garcia and Angie Katsanevas begin to fight at the Greek Easter party on the October 17 episode of the show. Months later, Garcia and Katsanevas reignited their disagreement online.

After Garcia’s mother, Linda, got involved in the fight, chastising Garcia and saying “Your daughters are here,” Garcia took to social media in an October 18 tweet to clarify.

“Say what you want about me. Whore, rat, disrespectful, home wrecker, spoiled, broke, an assistant, whatever you want to say. I let everybody run with it, but I MADE SURE my girls were not there for that situation. That did not happen in front of my kids. Go through the stills,” Garcia wrote. Her tweet accompanied stills from the party at Katsanevas’ home which showed no children in sight.

Monica Garcia Says She ‘Should Sue’ Angie Katsanevas

Katsanevas responded to Garcia’s October 18 tweet, writing, “Production did you a favor. We don’t need to see stills to know you did this in front of your kids. Don’t forget you almost hit my two year old niece in the head with your shoe when you threw it.”

Garcia then fired off multiple tweets, first calling Katsanevas a “liar” and adding “You and I BOTH KNOW the kids were in your basement you sick POS!! Go get your house up to code and I’m sending you my ER bill after falling down your basement stairs because you didn’t have a railing!”

In another tweet, Garcia referred to possible legal action, saying, “I left your house with bumps, bloody, and bruised!!! I should sue your ass for not having your home to code you f***!”

Garcia provided photos of her injuries in another post, which showed her legs covered in bruises. She clarified in this tweet’s caption that her falling down the stairs happened in the middle of filming for the Greek Easter party, as one scene from the October 17 episode was filmed after her fall.

“After falling down ANGIES stairs at Greek Easter because you had NO RAILING!!! Everyone saying I left my mom?? Yes. Yes I did and went straight to the hospital and she knew I fell down the stairs. My convo with her on the couch was after the fall,” Garcia wrote.

Where Do Monica Garcia & Her Mother Stand Today?

Garcia spoke with Us Weekly and shared an update about her relationship with her mother. Garcia said of Greek Easter, “That day, in and of itself, was so heavy.”

When asked what the conversation between Garcia and Linda was like after Greek Easter, Garcia told Us Weekly, “We did not have any. My mother and I are not okay right now, still.”

In the interview, she added that the strain in their relationship was not caused directly by the Greek Easter party, and viewers “will see it play out [in the coming episodes]. It gets worse,” and went on to say that she currently does not see their relationship getting better any time soon.

RHOSLC is not airing a new episode on Tuesday, October 24, as Bravo is making room for the premiere of “Winter House” season three. The Salt Lake Housewives will be back on Tuesday, October 31 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
