Here are all of the games revealed at EA’s Press Conference for E3 2017.
Madden 18
Madden 18 has new career modes and improved visuals. However, the biggest new feature is Madden 18 Long Shot, the story mode telling the tale of Devan Wade who wants to play in the NFL despite being out of the game for many years. The game is coming out August 25.
Battlefield 1: In the Name of the Tsar
Battlefield 1: In the Name of the Tsar is a new expansion coming to Battlefield One with the series’ first playable female character fighting in the Russian army. The expansion offers six new maps, new vehicles, 11 new weapons, and a new mode called Supply Drop. It’s a part of Battlefield One’s Premium Pass.
FIFA 18
FIFA 18 will also be featuring a story mode called The Journey along with an expansion to Ultimate Team mode and better visuals. The game is coming Spetember 29.
Need for Speed Payback
Need for Speed Payback is the latest entry in the Need for Speed franchise. Story mode has players on a revenge mission to take down a cartel. EA Play showed off a mission in which the player team steals a car from a truck. There are also extensive customization options and off-road racing. The game is coming November 10, 2017.
A Way Out
From the developers behind Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, comes another story-driven, co-op adventure with two convicts trying to escape a prison and run on the lamb. It will have split-screen co-op only both online and local. One character can be controlled while the other is in a cutscene. The game is coming early 2018.
Anthem
Anthem is a new IP from Bioware, creators of Dragon Age and Mass Effect. More info will be revealed at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference.
NBA Live 18
The newest game in the NBA Live series is getting a new mode called The One, where you play as a customizable character with skill points to spend on stats. Street ball mode, where you play with friends with 5 on 5 matches, is coming back. The game is coming this September with a demo available in August.
Star Wars Battlefront II
Star Wars Battlefront II will be receiving a new campaign mode bridging the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. New characters and maps are also being added with three times the content as the first game drawing from all three eras of Star Wars. Local split-screen co-op is also coming as well as deeper customization. There will also be free content coming including Finn and Captain Phasma from The Force Awakens. The game is coming November 17, 2017.
