Pokemon Go Research Tasks: July 2019

Another month means another chance to complete research tasks for cool rewards in Pokemon Go.

Here is the full list of Pokemon Go Research Tasks for July 2019, according to The Silph Road.

Completing seven different research tasks on seven different days will earn you a Research Breakthrough, giving you items, XP and a Legendary Pokemon. According to a blog post from Niantic, your Legendary Pokemon for this month can either be Latias, Latios, Kyogre or Groudon.

In addition, the Shiny version of Spinda is now in the game according to Niantic. Players will have a small chance of acquiring one for completing the research tasks associated with the Pokemon. For more info on Shiny Spinda, click the link here.

Evolve & Power Up

  • Evolve a Pokemon – Eevee* or Pidgey*
  • Use an item to evolve a Pokemon – Skarmory
  • Power up Pokemon five times – Bulbasaur*, Charmander* or Squirtle*

    Throw

  • Make five curveball throws in a row – 500 Stardust, 6 Razz Berries, 2 Pinap Berry or 5 Great Balls
  • Make five nice throws – Geodude*, Voltorb, 200 Stardust, 3 Razz Berries, 1 Pinap Berry or 5 Pokeballs
  • Make three nice throws in a row – 500 Stardust, 2 Pinap Berries, 5 Great Balls or 2 Ultra Balls

  • Also remember that you have until July 6 to catch a Pikachu wearing a party hat after taking a GO Snapshot photo or hatch a Pichu wearing a party hat from a 7 km Egg, according to Niantic. In addition, there’s a new Jump-Start Research quest, a higher damage bonus and Premier Balls when fighting Raid Bosses with friends and decreased Stardust costs for trading until September 2.
