Porzingis provided 20 points (7-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds and three blocks over 36 minutes during Thursday's 117-108 loss to the Bulls. Porzingis made his usual impact on the boards and in the scoring column while also blocking a game-high three shots, but it wasn't his best night shooting the ball. The All-Star big man is now averaging an efficient 19.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.5 blocks, 0.8 steals and 2.1 three-pointers in 27.5 minutes per game through eight appearances so far this year. Perhaps Thursday's most important takeaway is that Porzingis played a season-high 36 minutes, which is an encouraging sign for the Celtics and fantasy managers as the center becomes further removed from offseason foot surgery this past summer.

Season-high 36 minutes Thursday
Will suit up Thursday
Porzingis (heel) is available for Thursday's game against the Bulls, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports. The Celtics will receive a huge boost to their frontcourt for this game against Chicago since both Porzingis and Al Horford will be available. Porzingis has been limited to just seven appearances this season, but he's averaging 19.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 blocks across 26.3 minutes per game.
Questionable for Thursday
Porzingis (heel) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Bulls, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports. The questionable tag was expected after Porzingis participated in Wednesday's practice -- the Celtics want to see how his heel injury responds Thursday morning before a decision is made. Porzingis suffered the injury during Sunday's 112-98 win over the Wizards, but it was always believed to be a day-to-day issue.
Goes through practice
Porzingis (heel) participated in Wednesday's practice, Jay King of The Athletic reports. Coach Joe Mazulla said Porzingis looked good and was moving around well, and that bodes well for his status against the Bulls on Thursday. The Celtics want to see how his body responds to the practice, so fantasy managers could expect a potential questionable tag on the upcoming injury report.
Doesn't return Sunday
Porzingis (heel) left Sunday's game against the Wizards in the second quarter and did not return. Porzignis concludes the contest with 11 points (5-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists in 11 minutes of action. If he is forced to miss time, Al Horford (rest) and Luke Kornet are likely to see increased roles.
Questionable to return Sunday
Porzingis is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Wizards due to right heel pain, Jay King of The Athletic reports. Porzingis exited for the locker room during Sunday's contest and has been deemed questionable to return. If he is ultimately unable to return, Luke Kornet would likely see more minutes.
Solid all-around line in win
Porzingis logged 19 points (8-18 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 30 minutes during Thursday's 123-99 win over Detroit. It wasn't the most efficient night from downtown for Porzingis, but he filled the box score and nearly secured a double-double for a Celtics team that was without superstar Jayson Tatum (knee) on Thursday. In seven appearances with Tatum sidelined dating back to last season, Porzingis is now averaging 19.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.1 steals, 3.0 blocks and 2.4 three-pointers per game If Tatum remains unavailable for Sunday's contest against a Wizards club giving up the most points per game (123.8) in the league this year, Porzingis will likely experience an uptick in usage and handle a more pronounced role on offense for Boston once again.
Returns to action with 19/8 line
Porzingis produced 19 points (6-17 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 4-6 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals over 33 minutes during Saturday's 127-121 loss to Memphis. After resting on the front end of the back-to-back, Porzingis played for a few minutes and was sent to the locker room late in the second quarter, presumably due to his lingering leg injury. He returned in the second half and seemed unhindered. Porzingis is expected to sit frequently in back-to-back scenarios until he is fully healthy.
Returns for second half
Porzingis (undisclosed) returned to the court for the second half of Saturday's game against the Grizzlies, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports. Porzingis left the game in the final stages of the second quarter with a trainer following him, but it seems he wasn't dealing with anything severe. Expect the big man to handle his regular workload in the second half.
