Brown tallied 25 points (10-21 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one assist over 34 minutes in Friday's 111-105 win over the Bucks. Brown was the Celtics' second-leading scorer behind Jayson Tatum (34). Brown entered Friday's game shooting a career-low 43.2 percent from the field, but he was particularly efficient from inside the arc, connecting on 7 of 12 two-point attempts. He's scored at least 21 points in four straight games, and on the season Brown is averaging 25.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals over 36.2 minutes per game.

Scores 25 points vs. Milwaukee
Game-high 29 points in return
Brown (illness) posted 29 points (8-21 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 9-10 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Monday's 108-89 victory over the Heat. After missing Sunday's narrow loss to Cleveland with an illness, Brown did all of his damage in just three quarters Monday, sitting out the fourth quarter as Boston nursed a late lead. Brown's game-high 29 points lifted some of the burdens from the shoulders of Jayson Tatum, who fired a season-high 27 field-goal attempts Sunday against the Cavaliers. Over his last 10 games, Brown is averaging 24.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 3.1 three-pointers in 36.2 minutes per game while shooting a strong 38.2 percent from downtown during this span. Brown had shot just 71.4 percent from the free-throw line in his previous eight games to Monday, but fantasy managers should be very pleased with the star wing's 9-for-10 clip from the foul line in this one.
Will play Monday
Brown (illness) is available for Monday's game against the Heat. Brown was a late scratch against Cleveland on Sunday and was questionable for the second half of Boston's back-to-back set. Over his last nine appearances, Brown has averaged 24.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 0.8 steals in 36.7 minutes per game. The veteran forward could be in line for increased usage Monday, as Al Horford (rest/toe), Jrue Holiday (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (rest/knee) and Sam Hauser (personal) are all sidelined.
Questionable for Monday
Brown (illness) is questionable for Monday's game against Miami, Jay King of The Athletic reports. Brown was a late scratch Sunday against Cleveland, and it remains to be seen if he can give it a go for the second leg of this back-to-back set. If Brown does manage to suit up, he'd be looking at a ton of usage most likely, as Jayson Tatum (knee) and Derrick White (foot) are questionable, while Kristaps Porzingis (rest), Jrue Holiday (knee) and Al Horford (rest) have already been ruled out.
Out Sunday due to illness
Brown has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers due to an illness, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Brown was a late scratch after not being listed on any of the previous injury reports, and he can be considered questionable, at best, for Monday's game against the Heat. With Derrick White (foot) also out, Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser are candidates for major roles against Cleveland.
Stellar from downtown in win
Brown racked up 29 points (10-18 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists, two rebounds, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during Sunday's 107-105 win over Minnesota. Brown delivered a stellar performance from beyond the arc, hitting five three-pointers in the first quarter alone after shooting only 3-for-13 from deep in Friday's win over the Wizards. The star wing has amassed eight games with 25 or more points through 13 regular-season outings. While Brown was shooting just 28.4 percent from outside prior to Sunday's win, he has since improved his three-point shooting to 32.7 percent on the season.
Dishes eight dimes in win
Brown provided 17 points (7-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 120-117 victory over Cleveland. Despite struggling with his shot, Brown was clutch during the fourth quarter as Boston surged for the victory. The veteran wing also led the Celtics with his eight dimes. In what might be an Eastern Conference Finals preview, the Celtics needed top efforts from both Brown and Jayson Tatum to beat the formerly undefeated Cavs. Through 11 games, Brown is averaging what would be a career-high 4.4 assists per contest.
Notches second double-double
Brown posted 24 points (8-19 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-9 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 139-114 win over Brooklyn. Brown turned in an impressive night on the glass, resulting in his second double-double and his best mark of the young season in rebounds. However, he was less productive shooting the ball, knocking down 42.1 percent of his attempts from the field. Brown's 24 points certainly helped the cause, but it was Jayson Tatum's team-high 36 points that powered Boston to victory, and Payton Pritchard also chipped in 23 points off the bench.
Shooting woes in return
Brown closed with 14 points (4-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds and four assists across 37 minutes during Sunday's 113-107 win over the Bucks. Brown returned to game action after missing the last four consecutive matchups due to a left hip strain. The star forward handled his normal workload in the win, though he struggled from the field while lowering his shooting percentage to 39.2 percent on the year. Through seven regular-season appearances, Brown has averaged 24.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.3 steals across 36.2 minutes per game.
