Aly Raisman has won a gold medal in the Women’s Floor Exercise event. This, just one hour after winning bronze in the Women’s Balance Beam competition. She performed a near-flawless routine, perfectly landing several high spinning moves scoring a 15.600.
She’s won three medals in London. This the first Olympic gold for a U.S. woman in Floor Exercise.
Raisman hails from Needham, Massachusetts and is the captain of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team.
Raisman’s parents reacting to her performances have become a favorite topic of those watching the games. They’ve even become something of a meme.
i wish i could have seen aly raisman’s parents watch the mars landing

Parents should be able to medal in the Olympics for their reactions in the stands.

Ultimately I think Aly Raisman herself tweeted the best response to her victory:
I wish that I could have this moment for life
