James Holmes’ Shrink Warned Threat Assessment Team of Danger

The campus psychiatrist of Dark Knight Rises Massacre killer James Holmes warned the University of Colorado Denver’s threat assessment team in June about the danger posed by the eventual mass murderer. But no action was taken that could have prevented the slaughter of 12 people in the infamous theater shooting, according to Denver Post sources.

The newspaper’s sources say Dr. Lynne Fenton identified Holmes’ scary behavior and alerted the school’s Behavioral Evaluation and Threat Assessment team in the first 10 days of June. The massacre occurred July 20.

However, at the time of the shrink’s warning Holmes was in the process of dropping out of his Ph.D. program at the school.

The university would not comment, “citing the federal health privacy law and a judge’s gag order in the case,” the Post reports.
