The two women in the Petraeus sex scandal, Paula Broadwell and Jill Kelley, lost their military security clearances, reports CBS News. Broadwell’s U.S. Army clearance was suspended as well as Kelley’s Air Force base pass.
Broadwell was stripped of her security clearances after a federal probe alleged that she was storing confidential military information at her home.
Pentagon spokesman Lt. Col. Steven Warren told The Associated Press that the decision to indefinitely suspend Kelley’s pass to the MacDill Air Force Base was made in the last couple of days. Kelley is still allowed on the base, but must first sign in at the visitor center like everyone else.
