So perhaps we can finally put a motive behind the young man who killed two people, one with a knife and another, his father, with a bow and arrow to the head.
According to killer Chris Krumm‘s neighbor, Matt DiPinto, Krumm had once mentioned to him that his father gave him Asperger’s syndrome, which is similar to autism, and that he should be castrated for it.
Matt DiPinto said (via Hartford Courant:
He told me his dad gave him Asperger’s [syndrome], that his dad shouldn’t have passed it on. He said his dad should be castrated. I didn’t know him that well, he just kind of said it out of nowhere, so that kind of threw me off a little.
While it doesn’t sound like a true motive to kill his father, it seems that young Christopher was a very disturbed man. We also know now, that bomb squad members shuffled some packages out of Chris’ home as well.
Chris Krumm first went to his father’s girlfriend’s home and stabbed her to death on Friday, before entering his father’s classroom early that morning and shooting him in the head with a bow and arrow. Still not dead, Chris stabbed his father to death, right after he stabbed himself, fatally, a few times. All three have been pronounced deceased.
