Donald Trump doesn’t take no sh*t from nobody.
Back in June, Trump’s Miss Universe Organization sued former Miss Pennsylvania Sheen Monnin for defamation after she went on a “media blitz,” claiming the Miss USA pageant was rigged.
Trump gave her 24 hours to retract her statements, and when she refused, the case went to arbitration. Today, a retired judge ruled that the “disgruntled beauty queen” did defame the organization, and awarded $5 million in damages.
The Donald released this statement, via TMZ:
“We cannot allow a disgruntled contestant to make false and reckless statements which are damaging to the many people who have devoted their hearts and souls to the Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageant systems.”
He added, “It is an expensive lesson for her.” Typical, smug Donald. He just probably really needed the money.
