Lance Armstrong, the disgraced cyclist one revered as the greatest of all time before he was stripped of his seven Tour de France wins for widespread doping, once offered a $250,000 “donation” to the same agency that legislated his downfall.
CBS’ 60 Minutes Sports tomorrow will air a bombshell interview with U.S. Anti-Doping Agency CEO Travis Tygart, who alleges Armstrong offered the apparent thinly veiled bribe to the USADA in 2004.
Furthermore, Tygart says Armstrong gave $100,00 to the International Cycling Union.
For Armstrong, bribery allegations are nothing new.
