The current number one power couple in America caused a security scare at JFK airport on Tuesday, according to TMZ, when Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were allowed to skip getting checked out by the TSA. Allegedly an American Airlines employee allowed the pair to bypass getting frisked.
According to ABC News Kim and Kanye were led:
…through a non-public area in order to provide expedited access to their domestic flight…
The couple were catching a flight to California but when they boarded the plane, a TSA official arrived on the scene to pull them back to the security checkpoints. No TSA official would want to miss the opportunity to give Kim a pat-down, I’m sure.The Daily News were told by a TSA spokesperson:
TSA officials learned of the violation and conducted a private screening of the two passengers in the area of the jetway. The passengers were cleared to board their flight
Eventually, and I’m sure in no-way p!ssing off the rest of the passengers on board, Kim and Kanye were allowed back on the plane and headed to the West Coast.

TMZ have updated the story to state that the incident is under investigation by the TSA. American Airlines have said:
This was a lapse in judgment by one of our employees. We’re working closely with the TSA and speaking to the individuals involved to better understand what happened.
Kimye, as the couple have become known as in the tabloid media, were pictured over the weekend at Will Smith’s place in Brazil.
