Boston Marathon Bombings Conspiracy Theories: Top 10 Facts You Need to Know

The second the bombs went off in Boston last Monday, patriots, pinkos and anarchists alike cried “foul.” As with any major terrorist plot executed against Americans on American soil (e.g. 9/11), eyebrows were raised and skeptics were born.

Here is a list of the top 10 reasons why these fringe members of society might be onto something. And as we all know: The truth is out there.

1. The Gunpowder Treason
Remember, remember! / The fifteenth of April, / The Gunpowder treason and plot…

On Monday, April 15, at 6:42 p.m., a little under four hours after the initial bombs went off in Boston on Boylston Street near Copley Square, an anonymous 4chan user posted some fairly portentous information on a thread discussing the bombings. The revelation was screencapped and picked up by @YourAnonNews on Twitter on Friday, April 19, at 6:17 p.m. @YourAnonNews, the official media mouthpiece for the Anonymous organization, tweeted (see attached media):

A transcript reads:

Warning: Laws being written to screw you.
I work on a security commission and I’ve just received word to start a campaign we’ve been working on for the last two months and now it all makes sense.
I’ll keep it as short as I can.
They’re going to pin this event on a male late teens to early 20s and say he did it because he’s unstable. They are going to find firearms and a NRA book in his home. They are going to say he used reloading powder for the explosion and that reloading powder shouldn’t be for sale to the public. They are then going to say that because the powder in the ammunition can be used for explosions that the number of rounds you can buy should be limited and taxed to help pay for these events.
I can’t do anything or I’ll lose my job and possibly face criminal charges. Please don’t let them get away with it. They won’t find the suspects till later this week and the raid is issued to occur on Friday. This is a staged event. The people hurt are real gut the event was planned. Don’t let them hurt our rights.
I’m at work so I used a copy of a picture on another thread. Also please don’t mention me. It will seriously hurt me.

Even more alarming, all this came true.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev match the anonymous 4chan user’s description of the “culprit(s).”

The final showdown with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev occurred Friday night.

It is also reported that gunpowder was the main incendiary component for the bombs. The Chicago Tribune reports:

At least one bomb, and possibly both, were built using pressure cookers as the superstructure, black powder or gunpowder [a puzzling distinction, unless the Tribune is confusing modern smokeless powder with gunpowder] as the explosive and ball bearings as additional shrapnel, according to current and former counter-terrorism officials briefed on the matter.

All the while, Wednesday began with speculation by the Examiner that the Boston bombings could be used as a major push for gunpowder control. Hours later, U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) announced two new amendments to his previously floundering efforts for gunpowder control legislation, or his “Explosive Materials Background Check Act” AKA “The Lautenberg Amendment.”

The Examiner summarized the legal jargon of S. 649., S. Amd. 736, , and S. Amd. 737 for us less than legal minds:

Basically, the legislation appears to impose the same background check requirements for the purchase of any amount of black powder or smokeless powder that are now imposed on the purchase of firearms, including, of course, the (in?)famous “Lautenberg Amendment,” which retroactively bans purchases for misdemeanor domestic violence convictions.

Lautenberg’s press release Wednesday elaborated:

In the wake of the deadly bombing attacks in Boston, U.S. Senator Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ) today announced that he will reintroduce legislation he has proposed in a prior Congress to require that sales of explosive powder be subject to a background check. He will also file the legislation as an amendment to the gun violence prevention bill currently on the Senate floor.

It is outrageous that anyone, even a known terrorist, can walk into a store in America and buy explosives without any questions asked…If we are serious about public safety, we must put these common-sense safeguards in place. While the police have not revealed what specific explosive materials were used in Boston, what we do know is that explosive powder is too easy to anonymously purchase across the country.

All this sounds pretty typical following a tragedy, right? After Newtown, people demanded more gun restriction, etc. One problem: Lautenberg’s drafted damnation of all things gunpowder and subsequent amendments came hours before it was confirmed that gunpowder was the main explosive component in the Boston bombings. Was it planned, or is this merely political pandering to public paranoia? It remains to be seen. Where are you when we need you, anonymous 4chan user?

2. Strange Man in BDU (Battle Dress Uniform)

Just minutes after the initial blast, this BDU-dressed man’s picture was snapped at the finish line holding something peculiar in his hands.

Upon zoom-in, Natural News writer Mike Adams was able to identify the device as a “Inspector Radiation Alert” — a device used to assess dirty bomb or nuclear attacks.

The immediate question at hand is, if this attack was previously unknown about, why would this specialty, military-grade device be on-hand mere minutes after the bombing and in the hands of a man dressed in BDU? Which leads us to…

3. Four Other Men Dressed in BDU With Suspected “Craft Connections”

“The Craft”, as described on their website, are:

Craft International is a Tactical Training Provider, which offers a wide range of services, and training to its Federal Customers.

Their slogan is, “Violence does solve problems.”

Again, Natural News’ Mike Adams broke the story of the Craft’s presence on and around the Boston bombings.

Scroll down to see pictures of Craft men dressed in BDUs and identifiable via the Craft skull insignia.

Why a private-sector, specialized strike force was readily available in Boston is slightly inexplicable. Especially when you consider…

4. Bomb Backpacks Resemble Backpacks Worn by the Craft
The evidence on this is merely circumstantial and visual, but take a look of these comparative photos put together by Natural News’ Mike Adams.

5. Who’s Chris Kyle?

Note Craft insignia on hat

Chris Kyle was the founder of Craft. His bio on the official, un-updated Craft site reads:

Chief Chris Kyle (USN, honorably discharged in 2009) is one of the top snipers in the history of the American armed forces. From 1999 to 2009, he recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. Iraqi insurgents feared Chief Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan (“the devil”) and placed a bounty on his head. His extensive combat experience includes sniping, close-quarters battle, reconnaissance, long-range desert patrols, personal security and the training for foreign allies. In addition to working and training with the elite Navy SEALs, Chief Kyle has also served with units from the Army, Marine Corps and other government agencies…

Chris Kyle had the dream of forming Craft upon completion of his last enlistment so that he could continue to serve this great nation by helping those headed into harm’s way. When he founded Craft, he pulled together a remarkable team who share in his vision to provide the best training to those who need it the most.

So what’s the big deal?

Oddly, Chris Kyle was gunned down on February 2 this year.

Wikipedia cites:

On Saturday, February 2, 2013, Kyle and a companion, Chad Littlefield, were shot and killed at the Rough Creek Lodge shooting range in Erath County, Texas by 25-year-old fellow veteran Eddie Ray Routh, whom Kyle and Littlefield had purportedly taken to the gun range in an effort to help him with his post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Did Chris Kyle catch wind of some government contract he didn’t want any part of, and so had to be silenced? A lot of Internet sensationalists find it highly unlikely that such a decorated man could be picked off so easily—especially when it’s recounted that Kyle and Littlefield were killed around 3 p.m., and law enforcement didn’t arrive until nearly three hours later.

6. Bomb Sniffing Dogs and Spotters in Sight Before Start of Race

The official U.S. government statement is that they had no preconceived notion of a bomb attack at the Boston Marathon.

However, an interview from West Florida’s NBC affiliate Local 15 refutes that:

University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach, who was near the finish line of the Boston Marathon when a series of explosions went off, said he thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.

“They kept making announcements to the participants do not worry, it’s just a training exercise,” Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15.

Stevenson said he saw law enforcement spotters on the roofs at the start of the race. He’s been in plenty of marathons in Chicago, D.C., Chicago, London and other major metropolitan areas but has never seen that level of security before.

“Evidently, I don’t believe they were just having a training exercise,” Stevenson said. “I think they must have had some sort of threat or suspicion called in.”

The government has made no official response to Stevenson’s claims.

7. Two Cars, One Coexist Bumper Sticker

On the night of April 17, the two bombing suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev reportedly shot and killed MIT police officer Sean Collier. It was then reported that they carjacked a vehicle and drove to Watertown, where they were met by police and engaged in a firefight.

The vehicle the Tsarnaevs carjacked was described by police as a Mercedes SUV. Here is a picture conspiracy theorists were claiming to be the carjacked car:

It is not a Mercedes SUV.

However, later media accounts posted this photo of the purportedly carjacked car.

Lo and behold, a Mercedes SUV.

It is also interesting to note, in the first image immediately after the firefight, the car bears a “Coexist” bumpersticker on its rear, while the image of the Mercedes does not.

8. Previous FBI Inquiry into Tamerlan Tsarnaev

On April 19, 2013, the FBI released this information about the now dead Tamerlan Tsarnaev:

Once the FBI learned the identities of the two brothers today, the FBI reviewed its records and determined that in early 2011, a foreign government asked the FBI for information about Tamerlan Tsarnaev. The request stated that it was based on information that he was a follower of radical Islam and a strong believer, and that he had changed drastically since 2010 as he prepared to leave the United States for travel to the country’s region to join unspecified underground groups.

In response to this 2011 request, the FBI checked U.S. government databases and other information to look for such things as derogatory telephone communications, possible use of online sites associated with the promotion of radical activity, associations with other persons of interest, travel history and plans, and education history. The FBI also interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev and family members. The FBI did not find any terrorism activity, domestic or foreign, and those results were provided to the foreign government in the summer of 2011. The FBI requested but did not receive more specific or additional information from the foreign government.

It stands to question then that if our own federally accredited investigation bureau with seemingly unlimited resources couldn’t find anything substantial to claims Tamerlan had become a radicalized, jihadist Muslim, then how did this happen?

9. The “Set-Up”

In an interview with the BBC, the Tsarnaev brothers’ mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, denies that her sons could have possibly carried out the attacks.
She claims it was a set-up.
Transcripts from interview include:

I am 100 percent sure that this is a setup. I know that my two sons are really innocent.

He was controlled by the FBI, like for three, five years. They knew what my son was doing, they knew what actions, and what sites on [the] Internet he was going [to]. … They used to talk to me … they were telling me that he is a serious leader and they are afraid of him. … They were controlling every step of him, and they are telling us today that this was a terrorist act.

While it is typical for a mother of alleged monsters to remain incredulous to the allegations against her sons, her timeline of events does not even come close to matching up with the FBI’s official statement.

10. “False Flag”

In an age where nation states are increasingly obscured by counter-culture radicals (i.e. the Taliban’s association with Afghanistan), it becomes increasingly harder for our government to say, “Oh, Afghanistan did it” and it now must become, “Oh, they did it.”

The problem at hand is, there is no real, concise post-millennial definition of “they.” Which from a governmental standpoint is pretty wonderful.

The United States government doesn’t have the best track record with its citizens. Operation Northwoods is probably one of the better known proposed false flag operations to be committed on sovereign soil.

In the 1962 proposal, it was put forward that attacks be committed in U.S. cities under the guise of Cuba to help aid public support in a war against Cuba. Fortunately, President Kennedy and his administration nixed the whole idea.

Unfortunately for President Kennedy, he was assassinated within a year after the rejection.

Now this is just an example of a REJECTED false flag operation.

Think about how many are actually accepted.

And while we may never know if the Tsarnaev brothers committed this atrocity in Boston or not, it is still interesting to speculate.
And as we all know: The truth is out there.

What do you think? Is all this just total BS from paranoid crazies who distrust everything the government says? Or is there some truth in there — is there more here than we’re being told? However you feel, start a conversation in the comments section below.
