WATCH: Wild Crash Sends Car Into Hotel Swimming Pool

Hotel guests at the Ocean Mile Inn got a surprise when they looked out their room windows and saw a car had crashed into the pool. A woman driving the wrong way on the A1A highway in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, careened off the road and smashed into a parked rental car — plowing it into to the hotel pool.

It took a crane to lift the car out of the pool, which was filled with bits of grass — and a tree. In order to clean the pool it had to be drained. The driver was pulled out of the car and was taken to the hospital with injuries.
