Amid backlash from religious legislators, Brazil has yanked an online campaign to promote health among sex workers that used the slogan “I’m happy being a prostitute.”
The national health ministry launched the initiative to battle STDs and combat discrimination against prostitutes, but Health Minister Alexandre Padilha tweeted that the campaign was never authorized for publication:
