NetOps: Anonymous Leaks U.S. Military’s Internet Master Plan

Anonymous Leaked Documents

In light of the emerging PRISM scandal that exploded yesterday, infamous hacktivist group Anonymous has leaked several documents from the Department of Defense.

This first is the DoD’s “NetOps Strategic Vision,” which is essentially the guiding document playing the foundation for a massive Internet division. The Strategic Vision “seeks to establish a Net-Centric NetOps capability for dynamically operating and defending the GIG (Global Information Grid) as a unified, agile enterprise that provides responsive support to multiple simultaneous missions.”

The Global Information Grid is the United States Military’s master network, where it stores all of its information. The document, which was made in December 2008, lays out the foundation for NetOps, the strategy by which the government would defend all of that information.

With all of their usually pageantry, Anonymous also used pastebin to issue a statement about the 13 documents saying:

These documents prove that the NSA is spying on you, and not just Americans. They are spying on the citizens of over 35 different countries.
These documents contain information on the companies involved in GiG, and Prism
