Stephanie Smyth of CP24 is reporting on Twitter that the video allegedly showing embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford smoking crack was being investigating weeks before Toronto Star broke the story. She reports that police officers obtained wiretaps that discuss the video. Ford has still not acknowledged the existence of the video.
