Kenyan President Kenyatta has announced that the siege on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi, Kenya, is now over. The conclusion of the four-day crisis was revealed through the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government Twitter account and through a public address. So far, the government has confirmed 11 arrests, six dead security officers, dozens of critical injuries, and missing bodies under collapsed rubble from the roof and floors within the mall.

At this time, the Kenyan government forces are working toward defusing explosive devices set up through the mall during the siege, according to the Daily Mail.
NBC reports that security forces killed five terrorists during the siege. Despite the audible presence of sporadic gunshots and explosions on Tuesday morning, Kenyan officials consider the situation to be resolved.
Kenya now marks the first of three days of mourning over the loss of 62 people killed in the attack.
