In one of the more bizarre sports stories you’ll ever hear, San Diego State running back Adam Muema left the NFL Combine after claiming to speak with God.
But more worrisome is the fact that nobody — not even his friends and family — have heard from him in three days.
According to U-T San Diego, Muema chose not to participate in drills because he was “following God,” who told him if he missed workouts that he would become a member of the Seattle Seahawks — the team he most wishes to play for.
Muema boarded a flight to Florida on Monday, CBS Sports reported. He sent out several faith-based tweets before boarding the plane, but hasn’t been heard from since.
Yes, you guys are right I am crazy, crazy in love with Jesus it is the sweetest name I know.

@tirty8 : Sounds like the Bible. With a confirmation of a Holy Spirit chill down the crown of my head to my spine.

ESPN Scouts ranks him as the No. 24 running back in the 2014 draft class.
