Twitter reacted quickly to the news that Manchester United and Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner Malcomn Glazer had died.
Glazer came under intense criticism from Man U fans during his tenure as owner, and not everyone on Twitter was mourning his loss. But a large percentage of tweets were respectful, if not outright loving. Many condemned Man U fans who were celebrating Glazer’s death.
Here are some of the fan tweets that have started rolling in:
RIP Malcolm Glazer. Feel sorry for him to be honest, spent the last year of his life watching David Moyes undo all the work he put into utd.

Anyone who is celebrating the death of Malcolm Glazer isn't a football fan & more importantly, isn't a human in my eyes. Time & place.

R.I.P Malcolm Glazer, No matter what you thought of him you shouldn't celebrate anyone's death.

The Man United fans that are celebrating Malcolm Glazer's death, are absolutely cold hearted and classless. Incredibly disrespectful. #MUFC

RIP Malcolm Glazer. He may not have been the most best owner and he certainly didn't capture anyone's hearts, but he's still a human being.
