Romania’s Simona Halep defeated Germany’s Andrea Petkovic in this year’s semifinal at French Open 2014 at Roland Garros. It was both of their first times in a semifinal match of a Grand Slam tournament and twitter was buzzing during the intense matchup. Petkovic is famous for her post match interviews and crazy personality while Halep is the most improved player of 2013, jumping up all the way to No. 4 in the world. Halep has once again proven herself.
