The Packers Wasted no Time Getting on the Board
The Packers won the toss and elected to receive, giving Aaron Rodgers and Co. the ball on their own 14-yard-line to start, and the Green Bay offense didn’t disappoint.

Bradford took his first snap in a game since Week 7 of last year, when he suffered a season-ending knee injury during a 30-15 loss to Carolina.
Bradford’s first drive was a mixed bag: St. Louis converted on a 4th-and-3 from the Green Bay 41, but the Rams had to punt after facing a 4th-and-21 from the Green Bay 49 following a pair of penalties.

Bradford’s line on his first drive: 5-of-7 passing for 38 yards.
The Packers Settled for a Field Goal After a Touchdown got Taken off the Board

Rodgers hit Jordy Nelson for what would have been a touchdown pass on Green Bay’s first drive of the second quarter, but Green Bay was flagged for illegal use of the hands, setting the Pack back 10 yards and forcing Rodgers and Co. to settle for a 31-yard Mason Crosby field goal with 12:41 left in the first half.
Bradford Connected With Lance Kendricks to Put the Rams on the Board
Great snag by Kendricks followed by a successful extra point from #GregTheLeg brings the #Rams within 3 with 8:02 left in the half. #GBvsSTL

Bradford threw his first touchdown pass of the preseason when he hit Lance Kendricks from 11 yards out with 8:02 left in the first half. Greg Zuerlein’s extra point made it 10-7.
Bradford was replaced by Shaun Hill on St. Louis’ next series, having completed a successful start: 9-of-12 passing for 101 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions.
Pregame: Rodgers, Bradford Both to Start
Aaron Rodgers and Sam Bradford both sat out their teams openers last week, but both players are expected to start today.
Best-case scenario for Aaron Rodgers today: He marches down the field for a touchdown on the opening drive & gets rest of the day off.

Green Bay lost its opener 20-16 last week at Tennessee, while St. Louis lost at home to the Saints, 28-26.
