Jason “Mayhem” Miller has been arrested after live-tweeting his standoff with a SWAT team at a house in Mission Viejo, California, just south of Los Angeles.

The standoff began at 10 a.m. Pacific time on October 9 and ended just after 2 p.m. as cops blew the locks off Mayhem’s front door and took him into custody.

Mayhem had a prolific career in MMA with the UFC, Strikeforce, WFA, WEC and DREAM. In July 2014, he told My Fox LA in an interview, that there was a strong possibility that he would return to MMA. In addition to his MMA career, he’s also hosted a show on MTV, and in 2013 was in the NBC reality show American Ninja Warrior

1. Miller Said He Wanted a ‘Peaceful Resolution’

He tweeted that police “tryna murder me. I just want a peaceful solution.” TV footage from the scene showed numerous police cruisers, a SWAT van, and an ambulance. KTLA reported that there was a crisis negotiator present.

2. He’s Wanted on Domestic Violence Charges

Police were trying to arrest Miller in relation to a domestic violence charge, reports My Fox LA. Miller tweeted this about the allegations:

The Los Angeles Times reported that when police arrived at the house to arrest Miller, he ran in the home and refused to come out.

3. He Said on October 5 That ‘ODB from the Wu-Tang Clan’ Was in Control of His Twitter

Rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard died in 2004, but Mayhem nevertheless claimed last week that ODB was running his Twitter account. Miller tweeted during the standoff that the rapper was no longer in control:

4. He Was Previously Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge

In August 2013, Miller was arrested on a domestic violence charge. While he was out on bail he was arrested on a separate domestic abuse charge. In that case he was accused of urinating on the victim.

5. Miller Was Once Found Naked in a Church, Days After Telling Dana White to Kill Himself

In September 2012, Miller was found in a church, wearing only a robe, and was arrested. Just days previously he had told UFC President Dana White to “kill himself” in a Twitter post. Police were responding to a call of a burglary at the church. TMZ reported the church was trashed.
