It’s finally here in 2014, the world’s first real hoverboard, and with it a video of one of the world’s most prolific skateboarders riding it. Posted on Ride Channel, the Hendo Hoverboard features skateboard legend Tony Hawk and writer Dave Carnie getting to experience the thrill of riding the world’s first hoverboard, at the Hendo Hoverboard warehouse.
Currently, the hoverboard can only be used on metal surfaces, because of its repelling properties using magnets inside the board. While we still have to wait for a “true” hoverboard, the Hendo Hoverboard is a great start. It’s all about baby steps.
