WATCH: Gas Explosion Blows Up New Jersey House in Dashcam Video


In total 15 people were injured, one critically, after this explosion in the Stafford Township in New Jersey. Several other houses were impacted by the blast. A neighbor to the house that blew up, Melissa Lewis, told NBC Philadelphia, “My windows blew out of my house, and I dropped, and I covered my daughter because she was next to me. I stood up, and I heard them screaming outside, and there were people being taken to the ambulance.”


Stafford Police Department Capt. Tom Dellane told the media that cops were called to the neighborhood where the explosion happened just before 9 a.m. on February 24. The initial call was about a suspicious odor. The blast happened at around 10:30 a.m.
