Troubled singer Chris Brown is the proud papa of a 9-month-old girl, TMZ has reported. Not much is known about the baby’s mother, whose name is Nia, according to TMZ.

Brown is happy to be a father and is on good terms with the baby’s mother, who he’s known for awhile, sources told TMZ. No formal child support has been set-up, according to the report.

1. 2 Models Named Nia are Rumored to be the Baby’s Mother

Two models have been reported to be the baby’s mother.

Many reports say the baby’s mother is Nia Gonzalez. According to MediaTakeOut.com, Gonzalez is from Houston and met Brown in 2013.

Other reports say the mother is Nia Riley, the 31-year-old star of VH-1’s Love and Hip-Hop . She was quickly rumored to be the mother, though according to the Mirror she tweeted “Y’all know I’m not the only Nia in the world right?!.” Her Twitter was since made private.

Riley is the daughter of Grammy-winning songwriter Teddy Riley. She has dated the musician Soulja Boy off and on since high school.

2. The Baby Girl’s Name Isn’t Known

It’s not clear yet what the baby’s name is.

Riley’s daughter is named Kamryn, according to an E! Online report about a car accident Riley was involved in last year.

3. Another Man Thought He Was the Girl’s Dad

A man who posted on Instagram as “royalty_yaye_baye_” sent a message to Baller Alert saying he has believed for the past nine months that he was the father of the girl. The Instagram account has since been deleted, and the man’s real name isn’t known.

According to Baller Alert, the man posted several photos of him taking care of the girl and appeared to be an active father.

4. Brown’s Girlfriend Karrueche Tran Is Apparently Leaving Him

Model Karrueche Tran tweeted that she is apparently not ready to help Brown raise a baby:

According to TMZ, Karrueche, Brown and the baby’s rumored mother, Nia Gonzalez, partied together in May 2013, when Brown met Gonzlaez.

Karrueche and Brown broke up and then got back together several times in 2014.

5. Brown’s Ex Rihanna Was Shocked by the News

A source close to Rihanna told Hollywood Life she is shocked, but thinks Brown will be a good father. The “insider” said:
