Cecil the Lion was a majestic lion who was the pride of Hwange park in Zimbabwe. The lion was killed by Minneapolis dentist Dr. Walter Palmer, The Guardian reported, and left beheaded and skinned. A professional hunter who lured the lion away from the park and the land owner have been charged with the illegal kill.
