Vice President Joe Biden had an amazingly touching and honest interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show. Biden got choked up several times during the interview as he talked about his son. But always being humble, he also said that he imagined there were people in the audience who had been through worse tragedies than he has, despite that he has lost a wife, son, and daughter during his lifetime.
During the interview, Colbert asked if he was going to announce his run for presidency. Biden said he wasn’t sure, because after his son Beau’s death, he wasn’t 100 percent emotionally prepared. He talked about crying when greeting troops and their families in Denver and said that a president shouldn’t do that.
But perhaps, that’s exactly what a president should do.
