Rebecca “Becky” Quick is one of three moderators of the third Republican debate, which is being aired on CNBC.

She is the co-anchor of the network’s financial news show Squawk Box.

Here’s what you need to know about Quick:

1. She Graduated From Rutgers University With a Politics Degree

Becky Quick, 43, was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her family moved around frequently when she was a child, as her geologist father followed booms in oil production, according to the New York Times. They eventually settled in New Jersey after living in Texas, Oklahoma and Indiana.

Quick graduated from Rutgers University in 1993 with a degree in political science, according to her LinkedIn profile. She was an editor of the school’s student newspaper, The Daily Targum.

She spent two summers interning on Capitol Hill while in college, according to South Jersey Magazine.

In addition to her TV career, Quick volunteers with the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey, speaking out for survivors of traumatic brain injuries. One of Quick’s three brothers, Brian, is a brain injury survivor.

“BIANJ is the only statewide organization dedicated to improving the quality of life people experience after brain injury,” Quick said after she was the Mistress of Ceremonies at the charity’s gala earlier this year. “Brain injury is a lifelong struggle and I’m so grateful they have been there to support my brother and family.”

2. She Worked at The Wall Street Journal Before Being Hired by CNBC

Quick began her career in journalism at the Wall Street Journal, where she was an editor and reporter from 1993 to 2001, according to her LinkedIn profile.

While there, she covered technology and media, was an international editor for the online edition and was a copy editor for the Asian and European editions.

3. She Has Been at CNBC for 14 Years

Quick was hired by CNBC to be a co-anchor on its financial news show Squawk Box in January 2001. The show airs Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., and is the network’s signature morning show.

She is “known for her hard-hitting interviews,” according to her CNBC profile:

Quick is known for her hard-hitting interviews and profiles of some of the world’s richest and most influential investors, including Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Alan Greenspan, T. Boone Pickens, Jamie Dimon, Charlie Munger and many others. She also has interviewed three U.S. presidents and has hosted panels at some of the most prestigious conferences in the world such as the Microsoft CEO Conference, Fortune’s Most Powerful Women’s Conference and the Allen & Co. Sun Valley Media Conference. Quick also authors a regular column for Fortune magazine as well as contributes to CNBC.com.

Quick has attracted a lot of fans, including a group that set up a website in her honor, BeckyQuick.com, which she is not affiliated with.

“This website is dedicated to the beautiful and talented Becky Quick!,” the site says. “Chances are you’re not as smart as Becky, and you’re certainly not as pretty as Becky! Haha just kidding.”

There are more than 20 pages of comments on a guestbook, with messages from fans, like, “You are the hottest thing since baked potatoes. I love you.”

Quick talked to the New York Times in 2009 about the website, saying, “It seems relatively harmless. I’ve never talked to the guy who put it up. They’ve said nice things so I’ll just let it go.”

4. She Is Married to a CNBC Producer

Quick is married to CNBC executive producer Matt Quayle, according to the New York Post. They were married in 2008.

Quayle also works on Squawk Box, and some have questioned how their marriage impacts their work.

“He is her direct superior, so it’s a little weird,” an insider told the New York Post’s Page Six in 2009. “She’s definitely been getting preferential treatment since they got together.”

But CNBC said in a statement to Page Six, “All three anchors on ‘Squawk Box’ – Becky Quick, Joe Kernen and Carl Quintanilla – have married CNBC producers. Love is in the air when you’re first in business worldwide.”

She was previously married to Peter Shay, a computer programmer, according to the New York Times.

5. She & Her Husband Have a Young Son
