A wild brawl started by strangers during a child’s birthday party at a Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurant in Connecticut was caught on video.
The video, posted by Alexander Shway, has been viewed nearly 50,000 times after it was uploaded Sunday night to Facebook.
Manchester Police told Fox 61 they are looking for suspects in the fight, which occurred while a family was celebrating at the Buckland Street restaurant. The strangers started fighting near the restaurant’s carousel, and eventually an all-out brawl began.
Police said the suspects fled before officers arrived.
The restaurant chain released a statement about the incident to NBC Connecticut:
We are regretful of the situation. Our cast immediately called the authorities once the altercation went from verbal to physical. We are working closely with the authorities to provide our surveillance footage. The safety of our guests and cast members is our number one priority. We are sorry this happened. We are usually a place for food and fun and family and we work hard to provide a positive, wholesome atmosphere for guests.
The fight started when two women bumped into each other, NBC reports.
According to WFSB, the brawl involved between 10 to 12 people.
Children were injured during the fight, police told the news station, and two Chuck E. Cheese’s staffers were hurt trying to get children away from the fight. One of the staff members required medical attention.
