This is the horrifying moment when a terrorist bomb exploded inside Brussels’ international airport. The attack happened at around 8 a.m. local time.
Although there is no audio, you can see people walking through the terminal until a flash sends people running for safety.
The Daily Telegraph put the death toll at 34 with 136 injured.
In total, two bombs were detonated at the airport while another struck a metro station in the Belgian capital.
It’s estimated that 11 people died at the airport while 15 more were killed in the metro station. Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel confirmed that there were “numerous” dead.
Initial reports said that the explosion at the airport happened close to an American Airlines desk, that has since been rebuffed by the airline.
