WATCH: President Obama Reacts to the Brussels Terror Attacks

After mentioning the terror attacks briefly, Obama made a historic request to lift the United States embargo on Cuba, in place since shortly after the Castros took power in 1960.

President Barack Obama interrupted the first state visit from a United States President to Cuba in more than 50 years to address the nation and world on the Brussels terror attacks, which claimed nearly 30 lives. The White House has made the live stream from Cuba available via the video above to see the President’s remarks.

Terrorists attacked a metro station and the airport in Brussels, setting off two explosions at the airport and another at the metro station, at least one in a suicide attack. Flights and metro stations have been cancelled in fear of more attacks.
