During his live stream speech to the nation, Bernie Sanders mentioned that he was adding a new page to his website. This new section is designed to encourage his supporters to run in state, local, and national campaigns themselves. How does this website work?

Here’s what you need to know.

The new webpage is found at BernieSanders.com/win. Right now, the webpage is simply a form to fill out where you can indicate that you’re interested in getting involved in carrying on the Sanders movement in your local area.

Here’s a look at part of the new webpage:

During Sanders’ livestream, he mentioned wanting his supporters to run for local elections, such as school boards, state elections including governorships, and even federal elections for Congress. With so many people supporting his campaign, if many of them get involved then they can significantly change the Democratic party.

The form on his website asks if you are interested in running for office or volunteering for others. Then it asks if the person has been active in the Sanders movement and to share more information about themselves.

This is actually a huge step that supporters are excited about. They’ve been wanting to figure out a way to continue the fight on more local levels and support “down ballot” candidates. It looks like Sanders is thinking the same way. Here are a few tweets and reactions to his speech and his announcement about the new webpage:
