At least 14 people are dead following some of the most catastrophic flooding West Virginia has ever seen.
Governor Earl Ray Tomblin said on Friday that the flooding is “among the worst in a century for some parts of the state,” according to ABC News.
At least 100 homes have been seriously damaged and thousands are now without power. Among the 14 dead is a toddler, who was swept away on Thursday and whose body was found earlier today. At one point, hundreds found themselves trapped in a mall when the bridge leading back from the mall to the main road collapsed.
