Forget the Melania Trump/Michelle Obama plagiarism allegations for a moment. Did Melania Trump slip an ode to ’80s icon Rick Astley into her Republican National Convention speech? The Internet thinks so.

In case you’ve forgotten, here’s Astley’s iconic song, “Never Gonna Give You Up”:


The Urban Dictionary defines a “Rickroll” as “To post a misleading link with a subject that promises to be exciting or interesting…but actually turns out to be the video for Rick Astley’s debut single, ‘Never Gonna Give You Up.'” There was no video in Melania’s speech, though. “We Are the Champions” played as Trump joined his wife on stage.
