The final tower of the Riviera Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip was imploded Tuesday morning. The demolition was designed to make way for the Las Vegas Convention Center expansion.
The implosion of this tower, the Monte Carlo, comes after a June 14 demolition of another Riviera tower, the Monaco.
