Today is International Women's Day, which featured marches and rallies around the world, along with a nationwide women's strike led by the Women's March on Washington group called "A Day Without A Woman." There was a huge turnout for the women's events today, as women participated from across the world. Celebrations, strikes, and marches took place from California to New York & D.C. and in countries spread out across the globe. Women who couldn't take time off work still showed their solidarity by wearing red, deciding not to shop, or shopping only at small businesses or women- and minority-owned businesses.
