LIVE STREAM: Hillary Clinton Speaks At the Women In the World Summit

Hillary Clinton is back in the public eye after keeping a low profile in recent months.

The former Democratic secretary of state, senator and presidential candidate is sitting down for an interview with New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof. It marks one of the first times since the November 2016 election that Clinton has given a public speech.

Clinton is slated to speak at the event at around 5 p.m. EST on Thursday. To watch a live stream of Clinton speaking, hit play on the video above.

The last time Clinton spoke at the three-day event was in 2015 shortly after she had announced her intentions to run for president. During that speech, Clinton spoke about what it meant to be a “champion.”

It will be the seventh time total Clinton has appeared at the event, which is organized by Tina Brown, the former editor in chief of Vanity Fair, The New Yorker The Daily Beast and Newsweek.

Brown said she is ecstatic Clinton will be a guest once again after one year off due to campaigning.

We are delighted Secretary Clinton will be back with us after her momentous run for the presidency. With resurgent national energy around issues confronting women, her insights and wisdom will be of critical importance to hear.

Clinton has laid low since the election loss, but spoke out at a March 29 event against President Donald Trump. She criticized him for the lack of women within his administration.

Before taking the stage, Clinton will be introduced by Samantha Bee, the host and producer of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.

In addition to Clinton, Thursday’s lineup features speeches by actress Scarlett Johansson and Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau earlier in the day.
