Manchester Ariana Grande Bombing Victims: Photos to Remember Their Lives

Saffie Rose Roussos: Simply a Beautiful Little Girl

Saffie Rose Roussos was only 8-years-old and one of the youngest victims of the Manchester bombing. She was at the concert with her mother, Lisa Roussos, and sister, Ashlee Bromwich, according to the Guardian. They were injured but survived and were being treated in the hospital. Loved ones said that Saffie had a creative flair and, as headteacher Chris Upton said, "was simply a beautiful little girl in every aspect of the word. She was loved by everyone." Saffie was also quiet and unassuming, but a joy to be around. She was taken far too soon. You can learn more about Saffie here.

Chris Upton added about the devastating news: "The thought that anyone could go out to a concert and not come home is heartbreaking."

According to The Telegraph, Saffie's parents run a fish and chip shop in Leyland Lancs. Kate Tinsley, whose daughter was a friend of Saffie, said: "Everybody is worried, the whole village. Everybody is in bits waiting for news, just some news that she's okay, she's alive."

At first, her mom couldn't find Saffie because she may have been taken to a different hospital, according to friends. Hannah Melling wrote on Facebook: "“Saffie-Rose, 8 years old is still missing. Her mum Lisa and sister Ash are in hospital with shrapnel injuries which are not life threatening but Saffie is still missing. Ashlee’s in Bolton but Lisa is in a different one."

Police are still investigating the bombing and have asked anyone who was in the city centre between 8 and 11 p.m. and had dash-cam footage to send it to https://ukpoliceimageappeal.co.uk. (Twitter)
