Karen Toulon is senior editor, Bloomberg. She is among the journalists selected in honor of press freedom to drop the ball on New Year's Even 2018.
In her LinkedIn bio, Toulon describes her duties this way: "Work worldwide with 2,700 cross-platform print journalists, researchers and broadcast staff in 120 countries, providing on-air coaching, interview/panel prep and content development to enhance Bloomberg's staff skills and coverage of global events.

Toulon Has a Long Career in Journalism
Before becoming an editor, Karen Toulon spent 16 years as a reporter for Bloomberg. She was New York Bureau Chief. She has also worked at Thomson Reuters, CNBC, AT&T, and CBS Network Radio. She has a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Dartmouth College and a master's degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, according to her LinkedIn page.
Columbia University reported that she won the Gwen Ifill award for "developing and promoting the broadcast skills of Bloomberg journalists and researchers around the world, while helping to diversify Bloomberg’s global lineup."
