The Falcons released Burns (undisclosed) on Monday, Marc Raimondi of ESPN reports. Atlanta made two free-agent additions Monday, and it cut Burns along with wide receiver Austin Mack to make room for them. He'll now have to seek another chance to make a roster with another team.
