After a two-year run as rivals in the Big East, Syracuse (16-9, 7-5 ACC) and No. 12 Louisville (20-5, 8-4 ACC) are conference foes again, this time in the ACC.
They renew the series Wednesday night at the Carrier Dome after a year hiatus of facing each other.
ESPN will air the game at 7 p.m. Eastern. Bob Wischusen will handle play-by-play duties and Sean Farnham has the analysis.
Syracuse might have caught a break as Louisville will be without starting guard Chris Jones, who was suspended by coach Rick Pitino for a violation of team rules.
The teams met 5 times during the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons, with the Orange winning 3 games.
