Led by freshman center Jahlil Okafor, No. 4 Duke (22-3, 9-3 ACC) comes into Wednesday night’s showdown with rival North Carolina on a 5-game winning streak.
Things haven’t been so sunny in Chapel Hill as the No. 15 Tar Heels (18-7, 8-4 ACC) are trending in the opposite direction, losing 3 of 4.
The first meeting between the teams this season is at Duke’s Cameron Indoor Stadium. But as we’ve seen so many times in this historic rivalry, when the Blue Devils and Tar Heels step on the court, anything can happen.
ESPN will have coverage beginning at 9 p.m. Eastern. Dan Shulman will handle play-by-play duties with former Blue Devil Jay Bilas on analysis. Shannon Spake is the courtside reporter.
The ACC Network will also show the game, featuring Tim Brando on play-by-play and Dan Bonner with the color commentary.
