Crystal Palace limped out of the gate in 2014-2015, with three wins in 19 Premier League games in 2014, but then added manager Alan Pardew after Pardew’s harsh ending at Newcastle United. Pardew, a former Crystal Palace player, righted the ship for the Eagles, finishing strong with a 11-2-7 record in 2015 and a 10th place finish in the Premier League. This is back-to-back seasons that Palace have been dominant in the second half after a weak first half, as the team looks to have a more consistent season in 2015-2016. Crystal Palace has been very active in the transfer marketing, adding record signing Yohan Cabaye from PSG, signing goalie Alex McCarthy for goalie depth, and loaning forward Patrick Bamford from Chelsea.

Crystal Palace can make a lot of noise at the top of the table early, as they have home matches against Arsenal and Manchester City in their first five games and also have visits to Chelsea and Tottenham before the end of September. Palace has five matches against top 10 teams from 2014-2015 in their last 10 games, with the toughest matchup as a trip to Arsenal on April 16, 2016.
